The Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, seeks her next big game to put up on her wall. Don't take her too lightly as she will give you the pain with her bow. Accompanied with her trusty pet, Tusky, she will be sure to leave her enemies barraged with arrow. Like always this will be based off Conquest but it can be used as reference for other game modes. The majority of the gods picked have some type of CC so Artemis will doors damage the majority of the time.
Artemis places a trap on the ground. Enemy gods coming within 5 units of her traps activate them, Rooting and Crippling the enemy god, preventing movement abilities and dealing damage every second for 3s.
There is an advance combo using the trap with her ultimate. Overall though, this ability is pretty useless by itself.
I recommend getting it level 4 and maxing it third. Pretty simple, she attacks and moves faster.
Use it whenever you have it up! I recommend getting it at level 2 and maxing it second.
Artemis fires a volley into a ground target, suppressing all of her enemies. Enemies caught within the volley are damaged and are Slowed.
It's not the best but it helps her the best it can. It also helps to box against the enemy Hunter or other gods due to the slow.
I recommend getting it at level 1 and maxing it first. Artemis summons the great Calydonian Boar on her enemies, doing damage to the nearest enemy god and Stunning them, and itself.
The boar is immune until it hits the first god and then continues to charge other gods for its lifetime. Artemis is also immune to Crowd Control for 1. Stun: 1. This ability works wonders in a teamfight and makes her capable of fight against other gods in a 1v1. Just beware that the boar may target a different god than the intended god you want. I recommend getting it at level 5 and maxing it when possible. Artemis being a Hunter her build oaths are pretty standard like all hunters.
So I will provide three builds that are very common for all players. Selling boots for Asi for ore life steal is really good. Build offers high critical chances and provides shredding everything with the exception of high health and no life steal. Selling boots for an Asi for life steal or Qin's sis for high health targets are great options. Selling boots for anything situational is recommended.
Like most Hunters, farming the early game is key to staying ahead especially on Artemis. Artemis can not do much the early game so she has to rely on farming and her support for peel to stay alive. Be sure not to push too hard in lane with Artemis as it encourages the enemy jungler to gank you.
This when Artemis can stay on her own for the support to rotate but that doesn't mean that Artemis is safe. She can possibly trade a few attacks against the enemy Hunter but keep in mind that she has no mobility so getting ganked or being attacked is bad. Continue to focus on farming and getting as many items and levels.
Also, get objectives when possible.
Now Artemis is in her prime where she can dish out massive damage to the enemy. Just keep in mind that the enemy Hunter can do the same if it's a proper Hunter. Be sure to stay behind the support and solo so that they can peel and protect you. Don't push forward in a fight or get out position as she will be the enemies priority. Take as many objectives possible. They are pretty save gods with overall great pressure and fighting at every point in the game. So fighting them is risky early on and if they run away just let them go.
He is, at the moment, a top pick due to his control, pressure, and overall annoyance in lane. Side from that, he is also a great boxing Hunter due to his hives and honey. So be wary. Cernunnos and Cupid are good Hunters with great ultimates but by themselves they tend to be lack luster. Hou Yi though can box, stick, and out damage his targets with a great ultimate.
Season 7 guides & builds
Be ware these God's ultimates. Apollo is alright but overall bad in this meta and map hardly seen in games. Izanami has good clear and pressure but lacks team fights.
Medusa has fallen off this Season due to lack of pressure, clear, and team fighting. After the nerf to his ultimate, he has fallen off quite a bit so he became just a normal Hunter. The blind is still there so be careful. The best support for many Hunters this Season. Helps the hunter and carries take down objectives insanely fast. Artemis is a fun and easy god with a very hard play through due to her cons. She hits hard and takes down objectives super fast like most Hunters.
