Return to Fallout: New Vegas. Post a reply. Having some issues killing Nightkin. Anyone feel free to correct me. Be well prepared; they are tough. Frag mines can help too, if you have them.
Description
Nightkin are a rank of warriors in the Master's super mutant army.
Nightkin use better weapons and gear than the standard Super Mutant. The mutants in Fallout and Fallout 2 have heavy metal armor on, complete with a helmet.
However, the Nightkin in New Vegas seem to have weaker armor. This allowed them to creep up on enemies unnoticed and kill them with ease.
There is a downside though, most Nightkin became insane after the original Fallout, because of the prolonged use of a stealth boy. In Fallout 2 the remaining Nightkin ed the Super Mutant ranks and preyed on Wastelanders without their stealth boys.
In Fallout New Vegas, they will return with some type of cloaking device.
