Wild at Heart is a Side Quest in Velenlocated in the town of Blackbough, where a hunter seeks his missing wife. Head to the town, which is just Northwest of Crow's Perch, and find the man named Niellen. His wife disappeared one night, most likely in the woods near town. His wife's sister Margrit also has no clue where she could have gone, but points you towards two people she was close to. Speaking to the butcher's wife, you'll learn that the wolves in the woods have been acting up, which is most likely where she met her end. The children she took care of at the Blacksmiths will also tell you they saw her entering the forest with another woman.

You cannot miss or fail this quest even if you finish all the main quests in the game. After you kill the pack of wolves in the forest, Margrit will approach you and offer you a higher gold reward if you tell Niellen that Hanna had already died. If you agreed to Margrit's offer, you will get 50 additional Crowns from Magrit before returning to Niellen.
After the first time you defeat the Werewolf, Margrit will suddenly appear in the cave and stop you from killing the Werewolf. In this conversation you will discover what really happened to Hanna and you will be given a choice to decide the fate of Margit.
If you pick the first option, Geralt will tell Margrit to run away and you will be forced to fight the Werewolf again with its remaining HP from the last fight. If you pick the second option, Geralt will leave the Werewolf to kill Margrit and once Geralt goes outside the cave, the Werewolf will ask Geralt to kill him. In both, options you can loot Niellen's key from the Werewolf's body and open his chest inside the Isolated hut.
Killing the werewolf while protecting Margrit will give you more rewards. But if the player would like to skip the werewolf fight to save time, the second option will have the same rewards but without the werewolf ingredients.

Finishing this quest will be mainly for the sake of the game's completion and to have more knowledge about the Witcher World.
